The Quapaw Indian Agency was a territory (the present day site of Ottawa County, Oklahoma) which was merged with other territories to form the Territory of Oklahoma. Established in the late 1830s as part of the Cherokee Nation in what was then Indian Territory, the agency was disbanded in 1890. Another Indian reserve, the Miami Indian Agency based in Miami was disbanded at the same time.
